Charles Lamont Carson was born and raised in Tacoma-Pierce County.  Before joining Bold Solutions Charles was the Director and Owner of “Beautiful Birds Family Services”.  He recruited, licensed and trained foster adopt families as well as providing case management to families and support for healthy and safe living.  He lectures at Evergreen State College, Tacoma on community engagement.  He produced and directed 3 documentary films on literacy, resiliency and the importance of cross generational engagement for community change.  In 2024, he founded the REBIRTH EMPOWERMENT ACADEMY to prepare youth (from various cultures, backgrounds and experiences) for impactful, life-long leadership-guided by Empathy, Inclusion, Integrity, Discipline, and Accountability.
